Welcome to who we are
NBIF donates Christmas gifts of essentials and supplies to newborns in need—Piedmont Hospital, Newnan, GA, December 19, 2024.
T he idea of starting a nonprofit to help newborns in need started in 2004. What we saw in 21st Century communities across Georgia was devastating.
Young parents having to choose between paying bills or buying essential supplies to help their newborn(s) survive their first 28 days of life.
Our hearts bled for the impoverished newborn(s) and their parents, so we decided to start a program that would help lift the burden by providing the basic essentials and supplies to newborns in need. We also saw a need to improve infant mortality rates by educating parents on how to care for their newborn. Moreover, we provide referral services to assist them in taking steps towards sustainability.
NewBorn International Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was incorporated in 2014. We do not receive any governmental funding. We are solely supported by corporate partnerships and community donors that understand the importance of the work that we do.
All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
